Large 1.3m Dracena Marginata (Dragon Tree) Variegata Indoor Plant in Planter (Complete)
Our Service & Product Info
Looking for impact but something that you don't just kill? Look no further, Dracaena Marginata is an attractive, stiff-leaved plant with colorful foliage that sometimes goes by the name dragon tree. Most of the time, though, it’s sold simply as “Dracaena marginata” or just “Dracaena.” These are tough, drought-tolerant plants with aggressive root systems that make fantastic house plants —they are a little more forgiving than some of the other dracaena. It helps that they’re attractive and varied. They are sometimes grown as single-stemmed plants; other times grouped or even braided together in the same pot.

Light: Relatively bright light.
Water: Allow the plants to dry between waterings, but not completely. These are more susceptible to root rot, so be very careful never to allow them to sit in water.
Temperature: They thrive between 65ºF and 80ºF. They will suffer if it gets too cold and cannot tolerate freezing.
Soil: Loose, well-drained potting mix.
Fertilizer: They have a lower need for fertilizer, so fertilizer lightly at the beginning of spring or twice a year with controlled-release fertilizer.
Dracaena Marginata Houseplants prefer medium light, but survive in lower light situations. Lower light slows down the growth rate of Dracaena Marginata Plants and reduces the size of new leaves. Direct sun burns the leaves of Dracaena Maginata Houseplants.
Over- watering causes root-rot and is the main reason Dracaena Marginata Houseplants die. Water Dracaena Marginata Plants well and don't water again until the top 50% of the soil is dry. In low light, it could take up to three weeks for the soil of a Dracaena marginata to dry out. Brown tips on the leaves of Dracaena Marginata HousePlants indicate over-watering or too much fluoride or salt in the water. Numerous yellow leaves means a Dracaena marginata Plant needs more water.
Dracaena Marginata House Plants are slow-growing plants that do not need much fertilizer. Feed Dracaena Marginata Houseplants once a month in the spring and summer with a water-soluble well-balanced plant food at 1/2 the recommended strength.
Dracaena Marginata Houseplants prefer temperatures between 70-80 degrees.
Basic household humidity is fine for Dracaena Marginata Houseplants.

Everything perfect from start to finish
I am delighted with my purchase; your website is very good wity accurate descriptions. the ordering process simple and i was kept up to date with the progress of my order. The plant I bought as a gift for my daughter is beautiful - it was packed carefully and arrived in perfect condition. I will definitely order again - and so will my daughter! Thank you.
I ordered the dragon tree
I ordered the dragon tree plant... when it arrived it was in poor condition. Leaves had been broken off. I didn't bother to take the plastic wrapping off as I knew I didn't want this plant in this condition. I telephoned to explain what had happened and the lady asked me to take photos of the plant in this poor condition. I did as was asked, the next day I received a message to say my plant was being replaced. Super job. The original plant I ordered was complete with a planter. Unfortunately, the replacement plant wasn't complete but in a white plastic pot. I then had to transfer the new plant over so the new plant was in the square planter as it should have been. I wasn't very impressed with this arrangement but really couldn't be bothered to complain again. I am really disappointed with this purchase as this was a present for someone. \nThank for asking.
